Cousin Linda brought this to the lake house and everyone descended on it. She finally gave the recipe up.

What you’ll need
- 4 cups broccoli florets, bite-sized
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 6 strips bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp sugar
How to make it
- Whisk mayo, vinegar, and sugar into a dressing.
- Combine broccoli, onion, raisins, bacon, and sunflower seeds in a big bowl.
- Pour over the dressing and toss well.
- Chill at least 1 hour so the broccoli softens a little and the flavors mingle.
- Toss again and serve cold.
Linda's tip
Add the sunflower seeds right before serving if you want them crunchy, or earlier if you don't mind them soft.
Jenny’s notes
Linda brought this to the lake house and we descended on it before she'd even set the bowl down. Even I, a lifelong raw-broccoli skeptic, make a double batch now.
